Spartan Cops publishes articles, tips, and videos revolving around Police Use of Force. The topics include defensive tactics, TASERs, less-lethal weapons, lethal weapons and firearms, empty hand control techniques, police K9, and police gear. We aim to stay on the cutting edge of these topics but favor practical and realistic solutions rather than hype.

Bio:
Our names are Scott and Matt and each of us has 15 years on the job. We are both first line supervisors in a medium size municipal police department in Texas. Between the two of us we have worked in Patrol, SRO, Community Policing, and K9.

Scott and Matt, thanks for the invitation. Great site. I look forward to visiting frequently. I’m now trying to figure out if I know either or both of you. Having taught so many officers in Texas I suspect we have met. I do understand keeping last names off the site but if you could send me an email or touch base I would enjoy knowing who has put out all this effort towards a worthy goal.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am Writing Stories about police officers who have stories about their jobs as police officers. Anyone who wants to participate in telling a short police experience story, please send me a head and shoulder shot of yourself along with your story completed. It must be proof read when submitted. the story must be one of a serious call and one humorous with the end result of that subject. As the book is completed I will let you know where to find the book. The story you will tell me will start off with your head shot a small bio of yourself and department you work for and then your story. It will be fun writing this book and at the same time people will learn to appreciate what we do.
