At the beginning of the year, if someone had told me that our blog would have 7,000 visits in the first four months, I would not have believed them. We have 158 subscribers at this point and the number seems to keep growing. We use Google’s analytics program to keep up with our traffic, and we have had visitors from all 50 states in the U. S. However, the most amazing thing to me is that we have had visitors from 86 foreign countries.
While our topics are written with U. S. laws in mind, use of force is a global issue for all law enforcement personnel. We attempt to provide some information that is universal, like product reviews and defensive tactics techniques. But above all, I think that police officers are part of a brotherhood (sisters are included), and this includes officers from other countries.
Based on the number of pageviews per country, here is a list of the top ten:
- United States
- Canada
- United Kingdom
- Australia
- Germany
- Brazil
- France
- Phillipines
- Greece
- Spain
For all of our readers from outside the United States, please leave us a comment with the country you live in.
For our readers in the U. S., leave us a comment with your home state.

Scott:
At a Calibre Press Street Survival seminar, (May13-14-09), in Cleveland Ohio, (Dave Smith, Jim Glennon and Co), they mentioned all of the common POLICE web sites and asked for any others. I volunteered http://www.SpartanCops.com, and Jim Glennon repeated it clearly over his microphone for the large audience.
Expect more hits from this general area of Ohio. We will also post the address at SEALE Regional Police Training Academy in Bedford OH.
Thanks for the plug Ron!
